The keep inventory gamerule is set to remain enabled throughout each world, this isn't a server advertised for pvp... Yes, that happens on every survival server...? If they want to leave, they leave it's very simple -

Most likely isn't a bug as this never has been reported before, please make a ticket on discord so I can hopefully restore it

Yes, you will still get the rank whenever you next join and as @JakeTheMan mentioned you cannot buy unbans

It literally doesn't matter at all, these plugins are incredibly common throughout Minecraft servers it takes a few seconds to realize this...
