i was making a little written book for new players to read through and get to know prison related jargon quickly and the vote ad erased three pages of writing in a few milliseconds
I logged off immediately. Waste of ten minutes of typing.
... considering books do not have any "save" options besides the "Done" button, please do restrict the vote ads

How about making the Vote Ad another thing for Jarvis to do? /votetoggle to change between the open book GUI and the chat; else, not have it at all
